40 Hours for the Forty Acres – 2026

Save the date is an annual university-wide fundraising event that encourages everyone in the UT Austin community to give to the UT people, places, and programs that are meaningful to them. For 40 hours, students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends come together as a community and show their support. The Blanton is the art museum for both The University of Texas at Austin and the city of Austin. We’re dedicated to serving local audiences and making a national impact through innovative programming and bold leadership. We steward the largest collection of art in Central Texas, with expertise in Latin American, U.S., and European art, and international contemporary art. We present major thematic exhibitions built from our pioneering scholarship and partnerships with museums worldwide as well as regularly changing presentations from our collection, special projects with contemporary artists, and dynamic programs throughout the museum grounds and galleries.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
