Description
Cirque Kalabanté makes its Austin debut with WOW: World of Words, blending traditional West African performance with contemporary circus arts. Founded by former Cirque du Soleil artist Yamoussa Bangoura, the troupe combines African dance, cirque, and drumming in a program that explores cultural exchange and the meeting of tradition and modernity. (A school day performance is also scheduled.)
