Taking Back Tacos — Indoor Stage

Mohawk presents Tacking Back Tacos with Generation Strange (Limp Bizkit tribute) and The Crowing (Coheed Tribute) on Friday, September 4th! Taking Back Tacos is a pop-punk and emo cover band formed in early 2025 by musicians who connected through local musicians wanted social media groups. For over a year, we’ve been bringing the soundtrack of the early 2000s to stages across Austin, Kyle, Pflugerville, San Marcos, and San Antonio with crowd singalongs, audience participation, and nonstop high energy performances. Our set is packed with the pop-punk and emo anthems you grew up blasting through your headphones. Playing songs from your MySpace wall… one power chord at a time.
